In the "Iron New Fourth Army" exhibition hall at the former site of the New Fourth Army headquarters in Nanchang, rusted Hanyang-made rifles, bullet-ridden helmets, and yellowed battlefield manuscripts are quietly displayed, silently telling the story of the war years. In the vividly recreated scene of a battlefield hospital, bloodstained stretchers and simple medical equipment recreate the tense scene of medical staff racing against time to rescue the wounded during the Anti-Japanese War. The guide, taking the guerrilla warfare in the eight southern provinces as the context and combining the true stories of the New Fourth Army's bloody battles, deeply analyzes the spiritual core of this iron army's "iron belief and responsibility", leading the teachers and students of Jiangxi Copper Experimental Class to immerse themselves in the lofty faith and fearless courage of the revolutionary forebears.
After leaving the former site of the New Fourth Army Headquarters, the teachers and students proceeded to the Xiaoping Trail Exhibition Hall. Stepping into the "Xiaoping Workshop", they were greeted by rusty pliers tools, high-hanging production system signs, and eye-catching slogans on the walls, quietly telling the story of Comrade Deng Xiaoping's labor and contemplation here from 1969 to 1973. The guide traced the historical context, narrating the reform herald carried by the trail, deeply interpreting the perseverance embodied in Comrade Deng Xiaoping's life journey, and leading the teachers and students to appreciate the great spirit of those tumultuous years.
This event served as a lesson in patriotic education, but more importantly, it was a practical lesson that enlightened minds and stirred dreams. The students expressed their intention to follow the examples of revolutionary forebears, inherit the red gene, and draw strength to forge ahead.
