On the evening of September 25th, the preliminary round of the 18th "Zhi Xin Cup" Knowledge Competition, themed "Eight Decades Reflecting Our Original Aspiration, Embarking on a New Journey with Wisdom", came to a successful conclusion at Qi Zhi Hall in Building 24. The competition, sponsored by the Youth Committee of the college and organized by the college's Youth League School, was targeted at undergraduates of the 2025 grade. Through the format of "promoting learning through competition", it aimed to deepen knowledge of the Party and the Youth League School, promote patriotism, and showcase the style of Nanchang University students.

The preliminary round adopts a point system. Each team has 30 seconds to answer the questions, with the team leader taking the lead. For each correct answer, the team scores 1 point; no points are deducted for incorrect answers. The team accumulating 10 points first wins. The questions revolve around the theory of the Communist Party, the history of the Communist Youth League, and the history of Nanchang University, taking into account both basic knowledge and spiritual understanding, aiming to "Reviewing the old as a means of realizing the new".

During the competition, each team demonstrated quick reflexes and excellent teamwork, with players responding calmly and receiving applause. When the scores were tied, many teams maintained their composure and surpassed their opponents through their own strength, fully showcasing the adaptability and collaborative abilities of Grade 25 students.

After a fierce competition, the "Mengdudu Team", consisting of five students from Class 253 of Materials Science and Engineering, won the preliminary round. The "Zhixin Cup" Knowledge Competition is a traditional event held by Nanchang University for 18 consecutive years, with the core goal of "inheriting the red legacy and enhancing students' literacy".

The preliminary round was successfully held, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and showcase for students of the 2025 cohort. It also served to strengthen their ideals, beliefs, and sense of collective honor through competition. The college will optimize the preparations for the semi-finals, promote the implementation of "learning through competition", and assist students in growing and making breakthroughs in their knowledge exploration.
