From April 24 to 26, to further advance the special campaign of visiting enterprises to expand employment opportunities, deepen university-enterprise cooperation and pool alumni resources, Xu Jianqiang, Party Secretary of the College, led a delegation to Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. The team paid visits to local enterprises and alumni, promoted government-university-enterprise docking, strived to broaden employment channels for graduates, and explored the implementation of industry-university-research integration projects.
At Zhuhai Founder Technology Multilayer PCB Co., Ltd., the delegation visited the enterprise exhibition hall and held a university-enterprise symposium. Ms. Lu Xiaojing, HR Director of Founder Technology, gave a detailed introduction to the company’s main business, development plans and talent recruitment needs, and expressed a strong willingness to cooperate with the College in targeted training of outstanding graduates. Xu Jianqiang presented the achievements in school and college education, disciplinary characteristics and graduate profiles. Both sides reached a preliminary cooperation intention on talent training, internship and employment, with more than 30 graduate resumes submitted on site.
At Zhuhai Junwei Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., Huang Qiang, Deputy General Manager of the company and an alumnus majoring in Materials Science of the Class of 2002, warmly received the delegation. He guided the group to visit the enterprise exhibition hall, production workshops and laboratories, and introduced the company’s development history and core businesses.During the alumni forum, Xu Jianqiang briefed the attendees on the integrated development of Party building and professional work in the College as well as the employment situation of graduates. On behalf of the College, he expressed sincere gratitude to Junwei Electronic Technology for its long-term dedication to the continuous cultivation of students, and cordially invited all alumni to often return to their alma mater.Alumnus Huang Qiang stated on the spot that the company would further deepen all-round cooperation with the university, provide more high-quality employment positions, and support high-quality employment for College graduates. At Zhuhai International Power Port, the College held a government-university-enterprise docking symposium together with the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Jinwan District, Jinwan Industrial Park and key enterprises in the park. Representatives from the Jinwan District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Liangang Industrial Zone Management Committee and park enterprises respectively introduced the urban and industrial development, talent policies of Jinwan District, the overview of Liangang Industrial Zone, as well as the main businesses and talent demands of relevant enterprises.Xu Jianqiang noted that the College’s disciplines and majors are highly compatible with the industrial layout of Jinwan District. He looked forward to further in-depth collaboration in talent delivery, scientific research cooperation, internship and practical training to achieve win-win results for all parties.
The visit to Zhuhai precisely matched enterprise demands and built a platform for government-university-enterprise cooperation. More than 50 resumes of undergraduate and postgraduate graduates were delivered, with many candidates entering the interview process. Meanwhile, the activity strengthened emotional bonds with alumni and gathered joint forces for development.
Going forward, the College will continue to carry out targeted enterprise visits and job expansion initiatives, further expand the employment market, deepen university-enterprise cooperation and strengthen alumni linkage.
